Mean ages has been 33.4 30.9 addicts non addicts respectively. 70 has taken heroin by smoking. This drug has been used for 3.2 years 187.5 mg per four times a day. The findings does not any significant difference between body weights blood pressures of addicts non addicts. A glucose tolerance test has shown a significant increase of the mean blood glucose levels in addicts. Also suggests that the mean serum free fatty acid levels mean ratio of serum total cholestrol to HDL cholesterol and serum asparate transaminase (AST) serum alanine trasminase (ALT) levels of addicts were significantly higher than in the non addicts.
