Manganese(III) hydrous oxide in turn is found to photoreduce water with concomitant oxidation to manganese dioxide. Reaction mechanisms are discussed.ChemistryIrradiationpHSpectral analysisHydrogenPhotolysisAqueous manganese bicarbonateHydrogen production in photolysis of aqueous manganese(II) bicarbonateA
